FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Prospect for new customers (Channel Partners and End Users)
Proactively seek out additional revenue opportunities (cross-selling) with existing accounts
Comfortable working with large National Resellers, MSSP’s and VAR’s, to generate new pipeline and opportunities
Identifying strategic partner recruit targets
Work in a fast-paced, flexible, and passionate sales environment under minimal supervision
Provide detailed knowledge of ESET’s product portfolio
Travel, perform presentations, and work with customers and business development partner teams.
Perform weekly forecasting with accuracy.
Ability to coordinate sales activities across multi-functional groups (Inside, Field Sales Engineering teams, etc.)
Competence and knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes.
Define and execute business plans including Quarterly Business Reviews to deepen our traction with partners
Ability to exercise discretion and judgment regarding the relative costs and benefits of potential actions
Identify opportunities for improving partner performance and implement strategies to address these.
Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
Utilize advanced CRM tools to maintain detailed records of partner activities, sales performance, and pipeline status.
Achieve monthly and annual revenue and KPIs targets.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field required.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales and account management.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the software security industry.
Experience working within or supporting a Canadian Channel sales organization preferred.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and overall PC-based business applications.
Solid mathematical aptitude, including the ability to calculate discounts, commissions, interest, percentages, and margins.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
