Lead the design and implementation of cloud and DevOps solutions, ensuring scalable infrastructure and compliance with industry standards, while mentoring junior engineers.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect / Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud and DevOps solutions. This role is central to the success of our Process Excellence Technology Services and Customer Lifecycle Management Platform, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for diverse application types including microservices, web apps, and data platforms.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform and ARM templates.
- Lead configuration management efforts using Ansible, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Develop and integrate monitoring and observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Azure Monitor.
- Embed security into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps), including automated vulnerability scanning and compliance checks.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and testing processes.
- Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies into existing ecosystems.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement across development, operations, and security teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and developers in cloud and DevOps best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps engineering.
- Proven expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) including Pipelines, Boards, Repos, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Hands-on experience with:
- IaC: Terraform, ARM Templates
- Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor
- Security Tools: SonarQube, Snyk, Aqua Security
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
- Experience with BPM-based platforms is a strong asset.
- Prior work on large-scale customer experience or lifecycle management platforms.
- Experience in environments with high regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Spark, Cassandra, Oracle, and enterprise middleware platforms is beneficial.
- Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 40 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week
