Are you ready to turn player stories into game-changing insights? We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Angry Birds Match team! In this role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our data-informed culture, transforming complex behavioral data into clear, actionable ideas that help us craft even more joy for our players. You’ll work closely with our designers and product managers to understand what makes our players smile and how we can make their experience even better.

Reporting to our Product Performance Director, you’ll be a key voice in our decision-making process. Whether you’re based in our vibrant Espoo office or soaking up the sun in Barcelona, you’ll find a supportive, communal environment where your expertise directly shapes the future of our games.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Finding the "aha!" moments: You’ll dive into player behavior to find eye-opening insights that help us decide what to build next for our fans.

  • Keeping us connected: You’ll create and nurture dashboards that keep the whole team updated on how our games are doing every day.

  • Guiding our growth: You’ll share clear, thoughtful recommendations that make our games even more fun while helping the business thrive and carry out ad hoc analyses that help answer timely critical business questions.

  • Learning through testing: You’ll collaborate on A/B tests with care, helping us learn quickly and find the best path forward for new features.

  • Building a foundation of trust: You’ll look after the data pipelines that power our dashboards and partner with developers to keep our game data reliable and high-quality.

  • Sharing the knowledge: You’ll be our team’s friendly expert for new tools like AI and LLMs, supporting your colleagues so we can all become more data-informed together.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • You have a solid background in free-to-play mobile games or other Mobile-First Consumer Tech companies, with several years of experience making a real impact on product development, product optimization, and live-ops.

  • You’re a SQL expert and feel right at home using Python or R to process data and find answers.

  • You’re skilled at data visualization and love to communicate your findings in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand.

  • You have a deep understanding of A/B testing and statistics, ensuring our experiments are always honest and reliable.

  • You’re technically curious and enjoy finding ways to carry out your ideas quickly and with ease.

  • You hold a degree that gave you a strong foundation in data processing and statistical analysis.

  • You’re an enthusiastic communicator who enjoys sharing insights and participating in creative discussions.

It would be nice if you also have the following skills:

  • You’ve already started exploring how to use AI and LLMs to enhance data analysis and reporting.
