📍Your Impact Starts Here
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who’s passionate about building data infrastructure that drives business outcomes. You’ll develop pipelines, data models, and dashboards that power decision-making across teams. This is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end projects and shape how data supports the business. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and business teams, bringing strong Python and SQL skills, plus experience with Databricks, Airflow, DBT, and Redshift. If you love turning data into action, we want to hear from you.
These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
Build and maintain data models using dimensional data modeling techniques.
Create insightful reports and dashboards to support business performance analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support our data architecture transformation & migration efforts
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in a timely manner.
Optimize query performance and implement best practices.
Partner with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs.
Drive continuous improvement of data processes through automation and innovation.
Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to completion.
🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:
5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
Proven ownership of end-to-end data engineering projects
Deep expertise in data modeling, including fact/dim tables, SCD2, and medallion/layered architectures
Advanced SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and complex joins
Proficient in Python (OOP, package management, testing) and Spark (performance tuning, delta operations, Spark UI)
Experienced with Databricks, including streaming, Unity Catalog, and workspace administration
Hands-on experience with API and S3 streaming ingestion (Kafka, Debezium, Hive partitioning)
Working knowledge of DBT for data transformation and modeling
Familiarity with financial and accounting datasets
Understanding of compliance and security standards like SOC2
Strong ability to translate technical processes for non-technical audiences
Capable of working independently and mentoring junior engineers
