Job Description

The Senior designer applies user-centered experience to conceive, develop, and execute wire frames and graphical mockups for web and other new media products for major international brands.

  • Contribute to product design both at the front-end executing a range of rapid prototypes to implementing the final design
  • Act as the interactive design expert, reporting on best practices, innovative designs, etc.
  • Work with team members and actively be involved in the work.
  • Exceed Art Director/Creative director, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on Art Director/Creative Director feedback.
  • Designer are expected to continuously learn and evolved in designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, user interfaces, typography, design, navigation and production softwares.
  • Need to be reliable and ready to work with the Lead Designer and production team in all critical time.
  • Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve their own work
  • Cultivate an understanding of industry trends and share your insights with the studio
  • Work closely with Art Directors/ Lead Designer

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the design of intuitive, user-centered interfaces for digital media sites and services.
  • U/I design;
  • Experience in one of the following areas: consumer websites/services, plus interactive advertising, interactive marketing, game interface design, mobile, and video
  • Strong creative design skills can take an assignment to the next level without explicit direction
  • Mastery of project concept creation, site architecture, user-interface specification, functionality specification, and interactive design
  • Familiarity with display of video, sound, and interactive technologies online
  • Conversant in broader interactive concepts such as databases, video, and server-side technology
  • Demonstrated ability to design quickly and multi-task effectively under pressure
  • Inquisitive, energetic self-motivator with passion for media/consumer products
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong preference given to candidates with Flash design skills
  • Able to manage stress 
  • Strong attention to detail and focus
  • Enthusiasm, positive energy, and ability to maintain a sense of humor under pressure 
  • Driven to define the look and feel of large, industry-leading sites
  • Willingness to simultaneously tackle multiple projects and challenges
  • Have excellent computer skills in relevant art and design software packages
  • Be able to see other people's point of view and cope with criticism
  • Collaborate well with others and receive feedback openly
  • Must be reliable and available at all times
