Location: Remote-eligible across the US East Coast
Reports to: Senior Head, Strategy & Planning
Ready to shape enterprise-wide financial decisions and influence Board-level outcomes?
Do you enjoy turning complex data into crisp, actionable insights? Are you a people-first finance leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams and partnering with senior executives to drive product profitability, pricing, and resource allocation? If you’re excited to take FP&A from “good” to “best in class,” this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Lead and grow a team of 3 Finance Business Managers (with potential to expand to 4)—set clear goals, coach, and foster an inclusive, high-trust culture.
Act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership on product profitability, pricing, and resource allocation.
Own reporting and forecasting cadence—standardise processes, build metrics that matter, and elevate transparency for senior leaders and the Board.
Drive innovation in quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning—reducing error and increasing efficiency through modern tooling (e.g., Power BI, automation).
Partner cross-functionally (Product, Marketing, IT, HR, Finance) to embed sound financial considerations into business decisions and policy updates.
Prepare and contribute to Board-level materials and executive briefings with clear narratives and data visualisations.
Evaluate new products, investments, and initiatives through robust business cases and risk/return analysis to ensure strategic alignment.
Travel as needed (c.~10%; quarterly trips to Charlottesville; occasional East Coast).
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance (or related field) and 8–10+ years of direct FP&A experience; financial services or complex, global/matrix environments a plus.
Proven people leader with a successful track record of managing and developing high-performing finance teams (3+ direct reports).
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with strong Power BI/data visualisation and financial modelling capability.
Executive presence with excellent communication—able to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex issues for decision-making.
Strategic and forward-looking leader who navigates change with confidence and translates complexity into clear, actionable decisions.
