Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will play a key part in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of corporate finance, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide variance analysis with commentary
- Partner with business units to provide financial insights and support departmental planning
- Participate in scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential business outcomes
- Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
- Prepare presentations and materials for executive leadership and board meetings
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting systems and tools
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency in financial operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related field
- Experience with Power BI an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems (D365) is preferred
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key performance indicators
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
