We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A to support various initiatives across the Supply Chain, Marketing and Partnership portfolio. This role will deliver seamless and timely forward looking financial and business information, as well as actionable value-added business insights to key executive decision makers. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, be a self-starter with the proven ability to deliver results.
What you will do
- Act as a trusted finance adviser to the business - partner with key stakeholders to support decision making with financial analysis (incl. cost-benefit analysis), develop understanding of major financial performance drivers and assist business decision makers in the development of action plans to meet financial goals and mitigate risks
- Lead the preparation of meaningful and innovative performance reporting that communicates the story behind the financial performance to senior management
- Collaborate across the organization to ensure the financial impacts of key strategic initiatives are accurately reflected within our financial plans and forecasts
- Be a leader of change – challenging current approaches and fostering new ways of approaching business questions
- Bring efficiencies to the reporting and forecasting and planning processes
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years progressive experience in finance roles
- University degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Professional accounting/financial designation (CPA, CFA), or Post Graduate Degree (MBA) considered an asset
- Reporting and forecasting experience, as well as experience with financial modeling
- Innovative mindset to help drive the transformation of the broader FP&A team
- Drive - Results oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, maintaining attention to detail while retaining focus on the big picture
- Change Management & Efficiency - Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive process improvements
- Critical Thinking - Be able to think through business problems wholistically
- Strong communication - Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
- Outcome focused, critical thinkers with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across the corporation
