Key Elements
- Budget, Forecast and Business Plan development, presentation and maintenance
- Responsible for reporting monthly results and variance analysis thereon
- Financial oversight for third party supplier network
- Prepare Manpower reports and share with Plant team for analysis.
- Prepare month end journal entries
- Coach assigned leadership champions and their departmental leads with the cost council meetings
- Liaise with US HQ on financial reporting and forecast relative to the plant
- Ensure internal controls as set out by GMNA Business Process Controls are met • Ad hoc costing projects as required
Additional Description
Required Qualifications
- Post Secondary Education required in business, accounting, finance, economics
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and technical aptitude
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with various groups
- Thorough knowledge of accounting theory and practice
- Demonstrated organizational skills and a high level of initiative
- 5+ years of Financial experience
- High degree of proficiency with excel, including formulae & function
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP
- Previous operations finance experience
- Post Graduate designation/degree i.e. CPA, CMA, MBA
