As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst (SFA), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our international growth while building your career within a dynamic, supportive environment.

Your Role: Empowering Global Growth

As the Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you’ll partner with our InternationalSales team, acting as a trusted financial consultant to align business objectives, explore new opportunities, and contribute to the broader Business Planning and Analysis team. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, your contributions will have a direct impact on our company’s success and growth.

What You’ll Do

- Export Business Planning & Analysis:

  • Collaborate with the International Sales team to shape budgets, forecasts, and key strategic initiatives.
  • Optimize product mix, transfer pricing, and advertising investments through informed decision support.
  • Develop and present financial insights and actionable recommendations during monthly business reviews.
  • Lead the financial planning process for the export business, including long-term strategic planning.
  • Provide creative solutions and actionable insights to drive business success.

- Structure Cost Reporting & Overhead Analysis:

  • Own the structure cost budgeting, reporting, and analysis process while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and providing insights to the executive team.
  • Coordinate annual budget and quarterly forecasts, delivering executive presentations and submissions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine estimates and strategic financial plans.

- Project Management & Business Support:

  • Champion transformation in financial reporting processes, leveraging technology and automation tools.
  • Develop standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and tools to enhance decision-making.
  • Support additional business initiatives, including e-commerce and operational reporting, as needed.

What You Bring

  • A collaborative spirit, fostering partnerships across teams and functions.
  • Exceptional data management and analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication abilities, emphasizing listening, clarity, and understanding.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and excel under deadlines.
  • Expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Power BI, Essbase, Hyperion, Tagetik, or Oracle is an asset.
  • Industry or CPG experience is a plus.

- Education:

  • A university degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • An MBA or accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA, CFA) is highly preferred.
