About nesto and Nesto Cloud

You will be working on Nesto Cloud, Canada’s most advanced cloud platform, delivering end-to-end technology solutions for lenders in the digital age.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate on and lead complex technical projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery while maintaining technical excellence.
- Spearhead initiatives to improve code quality and workflows, actively contributing to discussions and presentations in front-end meetings.
- Writing automated tests and collaborating with the QA team to ensure robust and solid code.
- Leveraging artificial intelligence tools to enhance workflows, efficiency, and code quality.
- Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, inclusivity, and technical curiosity, where engineers can thrive and grow their skills.
- Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers, helping them grow their technical expertise and career development.
Who we are looking for
- 7+ years of professional experience in Front-End development.
- Extensive experience with Typescript, React ecosystem (Next.js is a plus), and modern state management libraries.
- Strong expertise in CSS/SASS, modern CSS frameworks, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with frontend performance optimization and monitoring.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration patterns.
- Ability to anticipate business impact and technical risks.
- Proven ability to influence technical decisions and drive change, with experience in a leadership or influential role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with engineers at all levels.
- Commitment to writing high-quality code and continuously improving projects.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, testing methodologies, and agile development processes.
- Passion for software development with a track record of continuous learning and growth.
