Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior IT Manager to oversee the technology operations of Felix. This will include managing and maintaining on-prem pharmacy software systems, company-wide software tool administration, IT budgeting and IT asset lifecycle management. This role supports two physical pharmacy locations (Toronto, Vancouver) and ensures the reliable operation of over 100 software tools critical to daily business functions.
Location: Remote-first role, with some onsite time at our pharmacy locations. Greater Toronto Area is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day IT operations across our two pharmacy locations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Manage and maintain the Kroll by Telus pharmacy management software, including troubleshooting, user support, updates, and integration with other systems.

Administer and support a portfolio of over 100 software tools used across the Felix organization, ensuring compliance, licensing, and efficient usage.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers for software procurement, maintenance, and support.

Develop and manage IT budgets, including expense tracking, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.

Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and system reliability.

Lead small-scale IT projects including software rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.

Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

Monitor and report on IT performance metrics and continuously seek improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, ideally in a technology company

Experience managing a diverse set of software tools and systems.

Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security.

Budget management and forecasting experience.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and locations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Startup or mid-size technology company leadership experience

Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL), networking, or relevant software platforms.
