Monitor and maintain IT systems, manage technology infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and streamline processes in the organization.
As a Senior IT Specialist at FreeBalance you will use your expertise to monitor, and maintain our IT systems. You will be responsible for our computer network and systems administration. You will install, configure, service, repair and maintain IT systems, and you will provide support of existing and new implementations. You will also ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational.
Provide a stable, consistent view of team activities and resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing technology infrastructure and assets at across locations and coordinating with the team to maintain and support the company's technology hardware and software.
- Analyzing technical needs, requirements, and state of the server, storage and virtualization infrastructure design, integration, and operations.
- Recommending, developing, implementing and maintaining new and existing technological infrastructures.
- Acquiring new software and hardware, negotiating service contracts and building relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Managing Information Technology engineering & operations staff.
- Developing processes to streamline and automate routine tasks.
- Analyzing problems and communicating with end users and department managers to assess needs and determine optimum solutions to IT concerns.
- Documenting all communication and tasks performed including closing out help desk requests when completed.
Qualifications:
- University graduates in Computer Science, IT or relevant field or related to computing related technology programs.
- Experience as IT Professional in a corporate setting.
- 6+ years'experience in IT operations, management and best practices, significant experience with IT hardware and software.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.
- Critical thinking skills and an analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiastic about working collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Team management experience would-be a plus.
