As a Java/J2EE Technical Consultants, you will support clients to implement Cúram. You will join a dynamic team that works with customers to meet their business objectives while embracing emerging and cutting-edge technologies, new standards and solving complex problems.You will continue to develop expertise in the technical aspects of Cúram solutions and work closely, at project sites, with clients, systems integration partners and delivery teams.
5–10 years of hands-on experience in application design, development, and unit testing.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Java / JEE / J2EE development, with willingness to ramp up on Cúram design and development practices.
Familiarity with deployment architecture for Cúram Social Program Management (SPM).
Experience with Eclipse or Eclipse-based IDEs such as IBM RSA.
Proficient in relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) and SQL.
Knowledge of application servers like WebSphere or WebSphere Liberty, and web servers such as Apache Tomcat.
Familiarity with JMS/Messaging and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and XML.
Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows NT operating systems.
Exposure to SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
Strong understanding of n-tier enterprise Java/J2EE application deployment models.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
2–4 years of experience with Cúram Social Program development, design, and deployment.
Background in ERP or COTS software implementation is a plus.
Experience deploying enterprise applications on WebSphere or WebLogic.
Familiarity with modern UI/UX design and tools.
Proficiency in UML (Class, Sequence, Domain Models) and design patterns.
Experience with ReactJS and Redux.
Skilled in defect tracking and monitoring tools such as Bugzilla, JIRA, and ALM/Quality Center.
Testing experience including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, End-to-End, Load, Performance, and both White and Black Box Testing.
Proficient in developing SOAP and RESTful web services.
Automation experience using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python and HP UFT.
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, and infrastructure automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Familiar with scripting languages such as YAML, JSON, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Experience with containerization tools and platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Kubernetes Services, or AKS.
Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Log4j, ELK, or Splunk.
Awareness of analytics and data science concepts is a plus.
Consulting experience in Cloud and DevOps for IT services firms is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills; bilingual in English and French is an asset.
Ideally, 5+ years of experience working in Canada to meet government clearance requirements.
Cúram professional services consultants are expected to be certified on Cúram product before embarking on client engagements. Candidates will be provided access to all required training resources upon joining the team and will be expected to obtain Curam certification within first three months. Candidates will be required to obtain Federal Government Reliability Clearance and any other required security clearances as stipulated by our government clients.
