Job Title: Senior Key Account Executive

WL- 1C

Location: Mumbai - Regional Office

The role will be a part of the HUL IB team in a customer facing assignment. He/ She works in tandem with other functions viz. CD-Ops, IB- Finance, IB-Supply Chain, CSE & Regional managers. Executive would assist the KAM in handling the account portfolio.

The right candidate for this role needs to be good at customer relations and maintaining a great and positive working equation with his/her counterparts. The role requires high discipline with timelines and strong business understanding with basic negotiation skills, stakeholder management and customer relationship building.

        Scope of work:

  • Following the CSD/CPC guidelines and SOP with the customers through effective and prompt actions.

  • Ensuring that all operational work is aligned and completed on time with the customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Being the voice of the customer in HUL and vice versa would be the key expectation. The person would be responsible for all business communication between HUL and customers.

  • The job requires him/her to manage of Price Revisions (PRC) and Price Negotiations (PNC), CPS, CFA transition, Merchandising, Promotion, & ways of working in his day-to-day job

  • The KAE manages contact with various key decision makers across the hierarchy in the CSD (AGM/Managers/Staff), (CPC – Deputy Commandants / SI).

  • Role demands frequent travel to Customer Head offices for operational work.

Main Responsibilities

1. Strengthening Relationships with CSD & CPC Headquarters:

KAE plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong working relationships with both CSD and CPC Headquarters. Effective engagement with these stakeholders ensures smoother coordination, faster issue resolution, and improved customer hygiene across the system. KAE is responsible for proactively addressing queries, facilitating transparent communication, and ensuring that all operational gaps are closed in a timely manner.

2.CSD Price Revisions:

KAE plays a pivotal role in driving and managing the CSD price revision process, ensuring effective coordination across internal and external stakeholders. Their responsibilities include validating documentation, managing submissions, facilitating audit reviews, and ensuring adherence to CSD’s compliance framework. Timely execution of each stage is critical for securing approvals and maintaining uninterrupted business operations.

3.CPC Price Negotiation:

KAE is accountable for leading and conducting CPC Price Negotiations. This responsibility includes engaging with IB finance, and ensuring that negotiation outcomes support business growth while maintaining compliance with pricing guidelines.

4.CSO Fulfilment with help of Extension Approval.

The continued use of timely Extension Approvals remains essential for sustaining fulfilment efficiency and meeting overall business objectives.

5. Consumer Promotion Execution

To ensure effective Consumer Promotion execution, KAE must apply for all required approvals well in advance and secure timely authorization from the concerned departments. This includes coordinating with internal teams, validating promotional mechanics, and ensuring compliance with CSD guidelines.

6. CSD/CPC New Listing:

New Listing is a critical responsibility for KAE, requiring strict adherence to the CSD-defined audit and evaluation framework. To ensure a seamless listing process, KAE must coordinate across stakeholders, complete all audit requirements, and provide accurate and timely documentation at each stage, conducting market surveys, supporting factory inspections, and resolving all queries raised during the review process.

7.Facilitated Smooth CFA Transition

A smooth CFA (Carrying & Forwarding Agent) transition is essential to ensure uninterrupted business operations. KAE must apply for the required approvals within the stipulated timelines and closely follow up to secure timely authorization.
