This position will be responsible for providing oversight over the areas of MX Business Operations and will report to the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations. This role will directly manage Business Operational activities, Reporting Functions, and Financial Processes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to lead and build financial / business / sales operations groups for the MX division at SECA
  • Responsible for overseeing all revenue and profit operations which includes management plan target setting, sales target / quota setting and financial processes management (Sales Deduction, Marketing Development Funds)
  • Supports the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
  • Works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in managing key financial processes for SECA such as Month End, Sales Deductions, Marketing Development Funds
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve key processes such as SD condition submissions, financial commit cycles, condition over / under accruals
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization; recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Coordinates SECA forecasting, planning, month end and budgeting processes used within the MX division with both the Sales and Product organizations
  • Responsible to oversee enhancements in reporting to ensure leadership is always kept abreast of key SECA financial processes (CMF, MP, Program Post Implementation Reviews)
  • Support Finance and HQ on planning guidelines
  • Assisting our cross functional groups (finance) to mitigate risk to both the balance sheet and P&L (Sales Deduction, MDF)
  • Working closely with cross functional teams (SCM, Product, Sales, Finance, market intelligence) to manage the delivery of P&L targets
  • Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • University education (preferred)

Knowledge:

  • Intimate knowledge of finance
  • Excellent understanding of operations and logistics across multi retail network
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building ability
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products
  • Excellent budgeting, planning skills
  • The ability to manage and coach people and align team objectives with individual goals
  • Ability to make professional presentations and to communicate in writing, through email, reports, or orally on sales matters
  • Must be self-motivated, hardworking, energetic and a team player in order to achieve objectives, program implementations and team goals and to complete assignments within established time frames and specifications

Experience:

  • 10+ years of related experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead highly effective sales and marketing organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to re-engineer processes, create structure and rigor for time bound processes
