Reporting to the Director, Finance Business Partner, Enabling Functions, as the Sr. Manager, Finance Business Partner Legal & CEA, you will support the Legal & CEA (Corporate & External Affairs) teams in achieving their strategic goals by providing financial guidance, insights, and decision support on core activities and financial performance, as well as broader support to understand and optimize enterprise-wide technology spend. You will help manage costs and identify potential savings, evaluating initiatives, identifying opportunities, and supporting risk management. You will also serve as the single point of contact for finance topics for your business partners.

The Role:- Provide actionable financial reporting including insights and analysis to the Legal and CEA functions on core activities and financial performance that help to achieve business outcomes that drive sustainable and profitable growth.
- Drive preparation of the consolidated Legal and CEA operating expense annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including assessment of risks and opportunities to meet financial and business objectives.
- Manage the assigned business partner relationships as a trusted advisor and single point of contact for Finance topics, including directly supporting members of the Legal and CEA Leadership teams.
- Provide decision support to the Legal and CEA functions to achieve business outcomes, including guidance in evaluating initiatives and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner and ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Perform financial modelling and analysis for operational decision support.
- Support the EF Finance digital transformation efforts including report automation and data
- visualization for dashboards, as well as identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Take a leading role in building collaboration across the broader EF Finance team to help drive standardisation, consistency and efficiency in financial processes across the Enabling Functions team.
- Support as the deputy to the Director, Finance Business Partner, Enabling Functions, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree in related field desirable.
- 7+ years’ business experience in accounting and finance, including delivering financial planning and analysis, including monitoring cost savings. Experience in global scientific/ pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.
