We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Legal Operations - hybrid role
Entrust’s Legal & Compliance team is seeking an experienced, innovative and dynamic Sr. Manager, Legal Operations, to lead and support legal operations across our global organization. This role involves collaboration with various departments to evolve Entrust’s legal operations tools, efficiency measures, and strategy.

How you will make an impact:
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the legal operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and collaboration.

Legal & Compliance Technology & CLM Tool Management: Administer and optimize HighQ and other legal and compliance tech solutions, recommend new technical solutions, and train teams within legal and compliance and across the organization on these tools.

Process Improvement & Knowledge Management: Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, knowledge management, and develop self-service tools to drive efficiencies and scale.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Management: Partner with various teams within legal and compliance and across the organization to optimize legal processes and align initiatives with business objectives.

Legal Operations & Project Management: Manage cross-functional legal operations projects, track goals and KPIs, and optimize legal and compliance vendor management and contract lifecycle processes.

Compliance & Risk Management Support: Ensure data security, compliance and data integrity within legal tech platforms and leverage tools to support risk management strategies and initiatives related to legal and compliance.

Assessment of Artificial Intelligence: Recommend and implement new tech solutions, including assessing the use of artificial intelligence to enhance legal operations and compliance.

Strategic Planning: Work with the General Counsel and CLO to develop and execute on the legal operations strategic plan.
Work Environment:

Collaborative & Fast-Paced: The role involves working closely with members of the legal and compliance teams, IT, sales, revenue operations, finance, and others across the organization.

Innovation & Efficiency: Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and collaboration within legal operations, the legal and compliance teams, and the greater organization.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor or master of law degree or information technology, MBA will be considered a plus.
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal operations or a related field in an in-house environment or law firm (with at least 5 years of experience at a manager level).
-
Expert knowledge of CLM tools, ideally HighQ or equivalent, and experience in configuring and managing legal tech platforms.
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
-
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making.
-
Must be able to lawfully work within the jurisdiction where the successful candidate will be working from (US or Canada) and have unrestricted work authorization for such jurisdiction.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience coding and customizing tools (in particular CLM tools).
-
Experience with e-billing and matter management tools.
-
Working knowledge of use of artificial intelligence for legal and compliance tools.

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $126,593-$185,669 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
