Atlassian is seeking a strategic, innovative, and data-driven leader to revolutionize our global Solution Engineering (SE) organization. As the Solution Engineering GTM Strategist, you will collaborate closely with SE Leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive scalable pre-sales programs.
Your role will involve managing knowledge across the organization, championing global initiatives, and delivering insightful analytics to senior leadership. In this role, you will:
- Transform the Solution Engineering Team
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the SE team's capabilities and processes.
- Identify opportunities for innovation across presales methodologies and tools.
- Lead Global Solution Engineering GTM Strategy & Programs
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies that cater to global and geo-specific needs.
- Manage complex programs to improve sales and presales outcomes.
- Collaborate with SE Leadership and Cross-Functional Teams
- Engage with regional SE and Sales leaders to adapt global strategies to local market needs.
- Align with Product, Marketing, Finance, and HR on shared initiatives.
- Provide Analytical Insights & Reporting
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards for the presales organization.
- Analyze market trends and sales performance data to recommend actions.
- Drive Operational Excellence
- Streamline pre-sales processes to enhance efficiency across regions.
- Ensure the sharing of best practices and global standardization.
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in Sales and/or Pre-sales, Solution Engineering, or GTM strategy within a B2B technology environment.
- Demonstrated success leading large programs or cross-functional initiatives, including resource allocation, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
- Experience partnering with senior/executive stakeholders in a matrixed environment, influencing decisions, and driving alignment around a shared vision.
- Strong expertise in data analysis and reporting to translate data into actionable insights.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, able to present to and persuade varied audiences.
- Highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- "Roll-up-your-sleeves" mindset with a focus on execution, continuous improvement, and a passion for building and operationalizing best-in-class pre-sales strategies.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $152,100 - $202,800
Zone B: $136,800 - $182,400
Zone C: $126,000 - $168,000
