Senior Procurement Consultant – Indirect Categories Transformation (She/ He/ They)
We are supporting a major transformation within the indirect procurement function of a leading organisation in the insurance sector. With a focus on non-IT categories in the Polish market, this role will play a key part in rationalising procurement structures, improving efficiency, and enabling a streamlined future operating model. You will work within a senior-led delivery model, contributing to category clean-up, supplier optimisation, and procurement transformation. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and execution capability in a complex and evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead category review, redesign, and consolidation across indirect procurement areas
- Execute end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFP/RFQ, supplier selection, and contracting
- Align procurement categories with group-level strategies and stakeholder expectations
- Support implementation of guided buying and catalogue-based procurement (e.g. Coupa)
- Collaborate with Legal and internal teams to develop contract frameworks and governance
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in indirect procurement, ideally within transformation or category optimization projects
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end sourcing and procurement execution, not just advisory
- Experience working within the Polish market, with strong local supplier and stakeholder knowledge
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple business functions
Bonus Points For
- Experience in insurance or financial services environments
- Familiarity with digital procurement tools (e.g. Coupa or similar platforms)
- Experience in procurement operating model design or transformation initiatives
- Exposure to international procurement structures and global category alignment
- Track record of contributing to cost optimisation and value creation initiatives
