We want everyone to work better – but we also want to be a tech company with a heart. Join us as we continuously innovate our award-winning products, create new solutions, and help the world work smarter, not harder.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to act as a strategic data partner to our Product organization, ensuring that analytics are embedded into every stage of the product lifecycle. In this senior-level individual contributor role, you will shape our data culture, proactively turning quantitative and qualitative product, customer, and market data into meaningful insights that guide data-led decision making.

What you’ll do:

  • Accelerate Decision-Making: Provide Product Managers with deep, collaborative analysis to support prioritization and release planning. You will act as a strategic advisor, not just a service desk.

  • Lifecycle Analytics: Embed pre- and post-release analysis into every major product launch, measuring the impact of new features on adoption and retention.

  • Forecast & Model: Build and maintain product-level models that tie roadmap activities to revenue and adoption outcomes, improving our forecast accuracy.

  • Drive Data Literacy: Mentor Product Managers and equip them to interpret product data confidently, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making.

  • Pipeline & Quality: Collaborate with Engineering to ensure accurate event tracking and clean data pipelines.

  • Strategic Insights: Partner with Product Management and Growth teams to deliver actionable insights that drive measurable improvements in ARR and retention.

Who you are:

  • Experience: 5+ years of data analysis experience, with a specific focus on Product Analytics or SaaS metrics.

  • Required Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in Looker, Amplitude, Google BigQuery, Google Sheets, and PowerBI.

  • Preferred Tech Stack: Experience with Drivetrain, Gainsight, and/or Atlassian tools (specifically Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Analytics) is a plus.

  • Analytical Storytelling: Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations and communicate results effectively to leadership.

  • Autonomy: Proven ability to define KPIs and build dashboards and data briefings from scratch with minimal supervision. Collaborative with cross-functional teams (product management, UX research, product marketing, sales, success) to drive depth and breadth of data insights.

Why Join Tempo?

  • Impact: Work on meaningful products that empower enterprise users and improve productivity.

  • Innovation: Be part of a culture that values creativity and innovation, with opportunities to make a real impact.

  • Collaboration: Join a supportive, collaborative UX team that values openness, communication, and a continuous learning environment.

  • Growth: Opportunities for professional development, including conferences, courses, and mentorship.
