Clearco is the leader of AI, data-driven eCommerce funding and has advanced over $2.5 billion in non-dilutive capital to over 10,000 businesses. Our revolutionary Invoice Funding product allows entrepreneurs to fund their expenses–including marketing and inventory–without giving up cash flow so they can plan for the future. As a Sr. Product Designer specializing in UX/UI, you will lead the creation of intuitive user experiences, leveraging data and customer insights to improve user satisfaction, drive product adoption, and bolster our company's competitive edge and success.

As a Sr. Product Designer, you will be instrumental in driving the evolution of our products, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers. Working alongside a cross-functional team, you will leverage both qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform your design decisions. As a design leader you will play an integral part in empathizing with the needs, emotions, and behaviours of people who use our products and help connect our customers' needs with our business goals. Passionate about user experience, you'll excel in a fast-paced environment, delivering impactful customer-centric solutions across diverse initiatives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Conduct ongoing generative and evaluative research, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative methods, to inform design requirements.

  • Work closely with product managers and cross functional teams to understand requirements and translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that align with product goals.

  • Employ rapid testing and iteration of designs following a user-centered approach.

  • Analyze market trends and user feedback to optimize product offerings and proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and innovations.

  • Adapt and iterate designs based on evolving customer needs and market dynamics.

  • Ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience across all products and platforms with a focus on driving user activation and retention.

  • Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Hold teams to a higher standard of quality and measure progress toward desired outcomes and standards (e.g. patterns and principles).

  • Own the complete design cycle from research to final creatives of the product.

You will thrive if you have:

  • 6+ years of Product Design (UX/UI) experience working on a world-class product or online service (Fintech / B2B experience an asset).

  • A solid grasp of user-centered design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

  • A strong portfolio that illustrates a range of strategic thinking, research, problem-solving, user experience and visual design skills.

  • Can speak clearly to tradeoffs and the “Why” behind design decisions in terms non-designers can understand and participate in.

  • The ability to think long term towards a broader vision or step change, while being able to speak to scoping and sequencing to deliver iterative value.

  • A true focus on the customer—you make your design decisions with insight, including interviews, usability testing and quantitative data.

  • A passion for the “why” of design, as well as the “what”.

  • An egoless attitude toward design, a passion to learn and grow every day, and an interest in sharing and learning alongside your peers.

What we offer:

  • Working with a very passionate and supportive team, and finding a sense of belonging in the #Clearcrew.

  • Competitive salaries, plus comprehensive medical, dental, and health insurance.

  • Flexible time off policy.

  • The flexible option of working 100% remote, partly remote, or from our beautiful downtown Toronto HQ!

  • A stipend to create your ideal work-from-home environment, and a learning stipend to brush up on existing skills or learn new ones.

  • Mental health support and professional development opportunities.

  • Fertility, hormonal health, and family-forming benefit.

  • The chance to participate in high-impact work at a mission driven organization.
