Are you a strong storyteller with a passion for product marketing? We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (16-month contract) to join us at Thinkific.

Thinkific is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team on a 16-month maternity leave backfill. This role is focused on supporting our Plus and Enterprise customer segment—fast-growing training companies, associations, and mid-market businesses that use Thinkific to deliver scalable, professional education experiences.

As a strategic partner to our Product, Sales and Customer Success teams, you’ll drive the go-to-market strategy for new and existing products, deeply understand our customers, and shape the product roadmap. You’ll report to the Director of Product Marketing, and collaborate cross-functionally across the org to drive product adoption, inform roadmap decisions, help the entire organization better understand our customers, and deliver measurable business impact.

Your goal will be to conduct competitive analysis, understand market trends, and collaborate with Product to strategize on upcoming development work. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

  • Be the voice of the customer. Lead customer and market research (including interviews, competitive research, win/loss analysis, and usage data) to uncover insights that influence product strategy and GTM execution.
  • Own positioning and messaging. Craft compelling, differentiated messaging for product launches and evergreen adoption, tailored to our Plus/Enterprise ICPs.
  • Drive go-to-market success. Plan and execute product and feature launches across Marketing, Sales, and Success—creating campaigns, content, enablement materials and assets that drive adoption and retention.
  • Enable internal teams. Equip Sales and Customer Success with the messaging, content, materials and training they need to succeed, from pitch decks to objection handling, competitor battlecards and one-pagers.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships. Collaborate with senior leaders across Product, Revenue Marketing and Sales to align product marketing strategies with broader business goals.
  • Influence the roadmap. Partner closely with Product, UX and Engineering to prioritize customer needs, validate opportunities and shape product direction with data and insights.
  • Lead cross-functional execution. Manage launch plans, internal readiness and post-launch adoption strategies with precision and care.

The person we have in mind likely:

  • Have 5+ years of product marketing management experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally focused on mid to up-market or enterprise customers
  • Are known for your ability to build trusted relationships across Sales, Success, Product and Marketing leadership
  • Have launched new products or features end-to-end and maintained programs that drive long-term adoption
  • Are a natural communicator and facilitator, with excellent project management skills and a bias for clarity and alignment
  • Can synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for multiple stakeholders
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy leveling up others while continuing to grow your own skills
  • Are energized by working on strategic projects with executive visibility and measurable impact
  • Loves data and believes strongly in data-driven decision making
  • Loves to learn and grow. They’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up their skills in this field, whether that’s through formal education, gaining professional experience, or maybe even building their own business

These things would also be nice, but we think you could learn them on the job:

  • Experience enabling Sales and Success teams at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, WordPress, and customer research platforms
  • A background in customer education, learning platforms or the creator economy

The recruitment compensation range for this position is $104,000 - 140,000 CAD
