This position is responsible for being an expert in Workforce Acceleration (WX), deeply understanding the features and capabilities of the product.  This role requires expertise in the markets in which the Company competes, including competitive positioning.  This position will partner closely with product management, sales, and services to develop clear, compelling, and differentiated value propositions and messaging.  This role will also work with campaign planners to ensure that messaging is effectively incorporated into the Company’s marketing campaigns.  Partners with stakeholders across the business to ensure enabled routes to market.  This position also serves as a mentor and example for other team members supporting continuous improvement initiatives and coaching from department leadership.Responsibilities
  • Becomes an expert in the market, audience, region(s), and product.  Identifies market size and addressable market for product and region(s).  Understands market trends and directions for product and region(s).  Articulates how the WX product addresses market needs.  Builds competitive positioning at product capability level, directly against competitors.
  • Applies market and audience insights to build differentiated value propositions and compelling messaging for the WX product(s), aligned to target buyer segments.  Defines buyers and users for the WX product, including development of buyer persona profiles.  Develops value prop and messaging, focused on how the product solves market problems.  Tests and refines value propositions and messaging with customers, analysts, and sellers.  Utilizes NPS results and client feedback to drive product and journey improvements.
  • Partners with campaign planning to ensure product messaging is effectively incorporated into the Company’s marketing campaigns, aligned to business goals.  Supports sales to achieve Worksite Employees (WSEE) and retention/renewal rate targets.  Builds and leads go-to-market and launch/release plans aligned to product roadmap.  Influences customers, analysts, media, etc., to accept value delivered by the WX product.  Provides guidance on optimal positioning, tactics, segments, and channel mix.  Ensures compelling end-to-end content journeys for the WX product, in collaboration with content marketing.
  • Ensures an enabled route to market that can achieve targets for the WX product.  Understands full deal flow – pipeline metrics and forecasts, conversion rates throughout the funnel, average deal size, length of sales cycle, customer acquisition cost, product feature adoption rate, and customer lifetime value.  Partners with sales enablement to ensure completion of effective sales enablement and training materials for all routes to market.
  • Serves as a mentor and example for other team members, a first-line peer resource, supporting ongoing training and development of team, continuous improvement efforts and initiatives, and coaching from department leadership.
  • Maintains commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team.
  • Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.
  • Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required. MBA is preferred.
  • Five to seven years of product marketing experience in a related B2B field is required. Seven years of product marketing experience in related B2B field is preferred.
  • Pragmatic product marketing certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated campaign management experience and skills, preferably in a B2B technology or services industry.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects. 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and demonstrated ability to learn other computer applications as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.  

Insperity provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is:

$84,170 - $95,808 (NC Home Office)
