Role Description

As a Solutions Marketing Manager focused on the IT persona, you’ll be responsible for deeply understanding the challenges and goals of IT decision-makers and influencers. You’ll craft solutions-based messaging and positioning that resonates with this persona, highlighting Dropbox’s value in enhancing security, scalability, and productivity. You'll empower our sales teams with tools, insights, and narratives that win the hearts and minds of IT audiences, ultimately driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Persona Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the IT personas, including their pain points, motivations, decision-making processes, and buying behaviors.
  • Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling positioning, messaging, and narratives tailored to IT audiences, emphasizing Dropbox's security, compliance, and scalability benefits.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership: Collaborate with PMM, Sales, and Marketing teams to define and execute GTM strategies for new and existing Dropbox solutions targeting IT audiences.
  • Enablement: Build sales enablement materials (e.g., storybooks, pitch decks, FAQs) that help Sales and Customer Success teams engage IT buyers effectively.
  • Content Development: Support the creation of thought leadership, case studies, blogs, and solution briefs that speak to IT’s unique needs and demonstrate Dropbox’s value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or related roles, preferably in the tech/B2B SaaS space with a focus on sales-led motions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT buyer personas, with a strong understanding of their priorities (e.g., security, compliance, operational efficiency).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful GTM strategies and campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for distilling complex concepts into simple, compelling messages.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and influence without authority.
  • Experience developing sales enablement materials that drive measurable impact.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Self-starter mentality with a passion for solving customer problems and driving results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI-driven solutions or SaaS tools targeting IT professionals.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple priorities.

Compensation

Canada Pay Range

$138,600$187,500 CAD
