This is a highly strategic role requiring deep analysis, cross functional leadership, and the ability to translate insights into actionable GTM programs at speed. You are the central expert on our competitors, tracking not just their products but their sales tactics and market moves, and ensuring product, sales, and marketing have the insights and tools they need to win.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own an AI-native comprehensive competitive intelligence program that tracks and analyzes competitors' product strategies, GTM motions, and market positioning
- Conduct deep primary intelligence gathering to gain firsthand insight into competitor sales processes, product demos, and messaging
- Monitor competitor sales and commercial tactics on a weekly basis, including pricing moves, contract terms, and selling practices, and flag emerging threats with clear next steps for the relevant team
- Own a structured, ongoing comparative product and feature review against key competitors, maintaining a live feature matrix that stack ranks competitive gaps by severity and frequency to directly inform product's roadmap prioritization
- Utilizing AI, build and own competitive feature comparison content (comparison charts, positioning by feature), partnering with the GTM Enablement lead to ensure it integrates into rep facing battlecards and training
- Design and lead strategic exercises to pressure test GTM plans and anticipate competitor reactions to our market moves
- Lead a formal win/loss analysis program, identifying the root causes of our wins and losses and presenting findings to leadership with AI-native scale
- Partner closely with Product Management to provide data backed insights that influence the product roadmap based on market opportunities and competitive threats
- Provide weekly intelligence briefings to relevant teams and quarterly briefings to the executive team on market shifts, competitor activity, and strategic recommendations
What We're Looking For:
- You have 5+ years of experience in product marketing, corporate strategy, or a related role, with at least 3 years focused on competitive intelligence in B2B SaaS or legaltech
