Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well… you might just be in the right place!

Lightspeed is a one-stop commerce platform that empowers merchants around the world to simplify, scale, and provide exceptional customer experiences. At Lightspeed, our Product Operations team enables a high-performing, outcome-driven product organization by connecting strategy to execution, streamlining processes, tools, and communication, and fostering alignment across Product, Tech, and GTM – so teams can deliver better outcomes, faster.

We are hiring a Senior Product Operations Manager to support our Financial Services vertical. This individual contributor role sits in Product and Technology and partners closely with Product, Design, Research, Engineering, and GTM. You will design scalable systems, implement effective tooling, and lead operational programs that improve efficiency, increase transparency, and help leaders make better decisions.

Embedded with the Financial Services product team, you will lead initiatives that improve how we plan, build, launch, and learn. You will strengthen feedback loops, standardize ways of working, and make tools and data work for teams.

What we’re looking for:

A systems-minded operator who turns ambiguity into clear, repeatable ways of working. You connect the dots across teams, communicate crisply, and use data to keep everyone focused on the right outcomes. You spot gaps early, add just-enough process, and raise the bar on quality and speed. Experience in financial services/payments adjacent companies is a plus. If this sounds exciting to you, we’d love to connect!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operating rhythm and planning: Set the cadence for your vertical. Align teams on standards and best practices, run the planning process, and spot cross-team dependencies and risks early so work stays on track.
  • Product launches: Make the path from idea to launch seamless. Clear blockers, coordinate partners, and make sure every release is ready, predictable, and effective.
  • Feedback loops and insights: Bring customer and GTM signals into the room. Turn insights into roadmap inputs and make product knowledge easy to find and use.
  • Tooling and automation: Choose the right tools, lead evaluations and rollouts, and remove bottlenecks. Prototype better ways of working with AI and light automation. Roll up your sleeves and make it real.
  • Metrics and reporting:  Define and track the KPIs that matter, publish/maintain key source-of-truth dashboards, and measure and iterate on ops effectiveness to continuously iterate your systems.
  • Be the change & comms champion. Document best practices, keep templates and playbooks current, coach teams through new workflows, and keep everyone informed with clear, regular updates on what’s new, changing and why.

What you need to bring:

  • 5-10 years of applicable product ops, product management, business operations, or program management experience; SaaS or financial services/payments experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and how cross-functional teams deliver together.
  • Systems thinker with excellent organization, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator and trusted partner who can influence at all levels, resolve conflict, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Bias to action and ownership from problem identification through solution rollout.
  • Data fluent: define and track operational KPIs, support analysis and experiments, and work comfortably in Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets.
  • Tooling savvy with Jira, Confluence, Salesforce or Monday, and able to simplify workflows and introduce light automation.
  • Effective in fast-moving, distributed teams, including work across time zones.

We know that people are more than what’s on their CV. If you’re unsure that you have the right profile for the role... hit the ‘Apply’ button and let’s have a chat!
