About the role

Lead complex, multi-workstream finance transformation programs (process, ERP/financial systems, data/reporting, and operating model). Own end-to-end delivery from business case through stabilization, driving disciplined governance, clear executive reporting, and measurable value.

What you'll do here:

  • Program Leadership - Build and manage the integrated plan, scope, milestones, dependencies, and critical path across workstreams.

  • Governance & Reporting - Run steerco and working groups; produce crisp, decision-ready updates and dashboards.

  • Execution Oversight - Remove blockers; enforce quality gates; coordinate across Finance, IT, Data, and vendors.

  • Resource & Portfolio - Monitor capacity and utilization; forecast demand; optimize allocations and escalate gaps.

  • Financials & Vendors - Work with PMO on budget/forecast; manage burn, change orders, SOWs, SLAs, and performance (when required).

  • RAID Management - Maintain a robust RAID log; quantify impact; drive mitigations and timely resolution.

  • Tooling - Use JIRA/Confluence for epics, sprints, dependencies, and reporting; maintain accurate status and metrics.

  • Change & Adoption - Partner with Change Management/Training to drive readiness, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Quality & Controls - Enforce testing (SIT/UAT), defect triage, auditability, and SOX-aligned controls.

  • Benefits Realization - Define KPIs/OKRs; track planned vs. realized value and recommend optimizations.

What you bring to the table:

  • Large-scale program oversight across systems/process/data with clear outcomes.

  • Advanced JIRA program tracking (epics, dependencies, dashboards) and Confluence integration.

  • Senior executive engagement with concise, decision-oriented communication.

  • Resource capacity planning and portfolio-level scenario management.

  • Strong risk/issue/dependency (RAID) identification and mitigation.

  • Budgeting/forecasting (as required) and vendor/SOW performance management.

  • Finance system domain knowledge (EDW, SAS, Oracle, etc).

  • Data/reporting and testing rigor (SIT/UAT/BAT, defect management).

  • Organizational change and adoption leadership in hybrid/agile environments.

  • Governance and controls mindset aligned to PMO standards.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years in project/program management; 3-5+ in finance transformation preferred.

  • Proven delivery of multi-million-dollar initiatives with cross-functional and vendor teams.

  • Strong financial and vendor management; excellent communication and facilitation.

  • Bachelor’s required; MBA, CPA, PMP/PgMP/SAFe/Scrum preferred.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Success Metrics

  • On-time/on-scope/on-budget milestones; effective and high quality reporting.

  • High adoption/readiness; effective RAID management; stable post–go-live operations.
