Job DescriptionThe QA Specialist will plan, design and execute test procedures for web applications, games and interactive mobile experiences. They will help define QA department testing methodologies and quality control standards by identifying recurring quality issues and leading initiatives to address these in all projects moving forward. The QA Specialist will work closely with development teams in replicating and resolving issues identified by end-users.
Qualifications- Plan, design, peer review, and execute manual and automated test procedures.
- Perform integration, smoke, load, usability, performance and regression tests.
- Identify issues, enter them into the issue tracking system and follow up on their fixing and closing.
- Work with producers, artists and programmers to ensure new features meet all acceptance test criteria.
- Drive tasks for offshore QA testers on a daily basis
- Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent training and professional experience.
- 3+ year experience in quality assurance.
- Experience with HTML5/CSS/JavaScript testing across all platforms and browsers
- Experience testing mobile applications
- Adept at using Fiddler, HTTPWatch and VPN in testing
- Knowledge of programming for automated testing.
- Experience working in the game industry is a plus.
