Job Summary:
We are constantly innovating both in terms of the functionality that we offer our users and in the technology that we use for our applications. We are adding a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to our team to provide product quality testing and solutions around our Enterprise and SaaS software offerings.
As an Automation Engineer in the Quality team, you will be involved in all aspects of quality assurance activities for an enterprising scrum team. Working closely with other Quality Engineers, Developers, and Product Managers, you will leverage and grow your knowledge and creativity to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) to ensure a high-quality product for our customers.
This position will report to the QA Director.
Responsibilities:
 

  • Design, develop, and maintain a scalable Playwright UI automation framework
  • Improve test automation coverage across functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Optimize existing Playwright-based automation scripts for performance and maintainability and ensure test scripts are robust, reusable, and modular.
  • Monitor and maintain test execution in CI/CD environments.
  • Automate test result reporting.
  • Analyze, fix and reduce flaky tests using proper wait strategies, retry mechanisms, and error handling. Maintain flakiness tracking dashboards and logs.
  • Set up and manage test environments to ensure consistent execution.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to improve automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and best practice discussions. Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for product and process related activities
  • Work with remote teams to manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Coach and mentor other team members and Quality Engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in test automation including 2+ years of Playwright.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
  • CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience working in an agile software development team using Scrum methodologies and Jira Software
  • Experience with application servers especially Wildfly
  • In depth knowledge of MS Windows Server and Linux operating systems
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with API performance testing (JMeter, PostMan) is a plus.

“The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115 - $145K base + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Candidates who exceed the specified experience and relevant education or training may be considered for compensation above the stated range. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base salary and certain positions may be offered additional variable incentives.”
