We're looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our mobile development team. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll craft exceptional mobile experiences using Capacitor, Angular, and Ionic while mentoring the next generation of engineers.What You’ll Do
Build & Innovate
Deliver robust, high-quality mobile code at pace, owning complex features from concept to deployment
Drive technical excellence in our Capacitor/Angular/Ionic stack, ensuring scalability and performance
Champion new ideas and foster a collaborative engineering culture
Lead & Mentor
Guide mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentorship
Shape technical direction and influence architectural decisions
Elevate team capabilities through knowledge sharing and best practices
Solve & Optimize
Tackle complex technical challenges across the mobile application stack
Debug performance bottlenecks and resolve critical issues
Proactively identify and address technical debt
Collaborate & Deliver
Partner with product and design to deliver customer-focused features
Maintain clear technical documentation and improve engineering processes
What You’ll Bring
Essential
Proven experience to operate as a senior software engineer with a relevant qualification (Degree, Bootcamp, etc.)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with demonstrable experience in modern frameworks
Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android) - bonus points for Capacitor, Ionic, or Angular
Experience with Redux pattern for state management and reactive programming
Commercial awareness - you understand how technical decisions impact business outcomes
Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex concepts clearly and influence technical strategy
Experience writing unit tests with modern testing frameworks
Experience with AI development - Claude code experience would be ideal
Self-directed work style with strong time management
Desirable
Cloud/SaaS application experience
Computer Science, Software Engineering degree, or related field
Experience with Angular Signals and modern Angular features (15+)
Offline-first mobile application development with SQLite or similar local persistence
Familiarity with modern CI/CD, testing frameworks, and development tools
