The Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Poland - remote
The Team: Join our R&D team in developing the Core Intelligence platform, an integral part of Accuris products - Engineering Workbench, Goldfire and Parts Intelligence. Our mission is to drive digital transformation in engineering organizations by unlocking valuable insights from the unstructured content of corporate repositories and industry sources, seamlessly integrating them into daily engineering workflows. Our solutions serve over 7,500+ companies, empowering engineers and knowledge workers with cutting-edge tools and industry content from 450+ Standards Development Organizations. The project focuses on creating intelligent mechanisms for the extraction, decomposition, analysis, and retrieval of relevant engineering data, utilizing advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning models within a scalable and optimized cloud infrastructure.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for enhancing, developing new features, and maintaining an existing in-house built advanced information retrieval solution. Your primary focus will be on creating high intensity processing pipelines, deploying and monitoring machine learning models, implementing scalable, efficient solutions for advanced search on a large scale. This solution is a core component of multiple products of our organization. This role requires a strong background in information retrieval, cloud-based solutions, and microservice architecture.

Responsibilities: Leading the design and implementation of a distributed event-driven microservice-based information retrieval system.
Developing new features and maintaining core components of advanced search system ensuring high performance, scalability and accuracy.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to best practices for the engineering team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and high-performance products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively incorporate them into our projects.
What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
4+ years overall experience professionally developing software products.
Strong algorithmic and coding skills.
Proficiency in C#, Golang, Python.
Experience in scalable high-performant microservice architecture and cloud-based solutions (AWS).
Experience in building high-load distributed systems or data processing pipelines.
Familiar with search tooling (Elasticsearch, vector databases such as Qdrant, Milvus etc) and search technologies.
Experience in developing modern search or recommender systems.
Experience with machine learning workloads on distributed systems is a plus.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving product environment.
