Senior Tableau Developer

What you'll do:
- Design and develop scalable, user-friendly Tableau dashboards and data visualizations tailored to client business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and performance optimization through complex calculations, data blending, and parameter controls.
- Define and maintain project timelines, Tableau development standards, and best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Integrate Tableau with a variety of data sources, including cloud platforms and APIs.
- Perform performance tuning of Tableau workbooks and data sources.
- Guide and mentor junior developers and analysts in visualization best practices and Tableau development.
- Create and maintain documentation related to dashboards, data flows, and processes.
- Participate in client meetings and present visualization solutions effectively.
- Conduct data analysis to draw relevant business conclusions.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
- Provide on-going training and technical support to end users.
- Experience using SQL to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis.

What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Tableau development in a business or consulting environment.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and writing complex SQL to support analytics and BI use cases.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data wrangling from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience integrating Tableau with other tools/platforms like Alteryx, Python, or R is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
