  • Collaborate with architects, hardware designers, validation and software teams to define and implement robust firmware solutions.
  • Work on pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up of PHY firmware, debugging complex issues at the HW/SW boundary.
  • Develop and test real-time embedded software to configure, calibrate, and tune high-speed SerDes PHYs with software based automation
  • Work on system-level debugging, interacting with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, protocol analyzers) to analyze PHY performance.
  • Build test cases, regression infrastructure, automation to support shipping SW/FW at high velocity

What You'll Need:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, preferably in low-level firmware for SerDes PHYs, high-speed I/O, or networking interfaces.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
  • Experience with real-time firmware development and low-level hardware interactions (register-level programming, embedded drivers).
  • Solid debugging skills, including use of JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for firmware bring-up.
  • Understanding of high-speed signal processing, equalization techniques, and error correction in SerDes architectures.
  • Strong proficiency in Python as a scripting language for test automation and debugging.
  • Strong proficiency in Git, leveraging latest software development lifecycle methodologies like git-flow or a CI based merge request flow
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced development environment.
