Position: Software Developer - Frontend Enterprise Web Application Development

CIeNET is seeking a Frontend Software Developer to develop and enhance modern web-based enterprise applications. In this role, you will work closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, product owners, and customer stakeholders to build intuitive, responsive, and high-quality web applications.

Role Summary

The Frontend Enterprise Web Application Developer will be an important addition to our North America team and an integral part of CIeNET’s larger engineering organization, supporting a high-profile, industry-leading client. In this role, the individual will collaborate closely with teams in the US and Taipei to develop, integrate, and deploy AI-powered People Operations (Pops) applications, with a primary focus on frontend development and user experience.

Strong expertise and hands-on experience in frontend web application development are essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building intuitive, user-friendly applications, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern web application user interfaces using contemporary frontend technologies.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Work with product owners and customer stakeholders to understand UI requirements and user workflows.
  • Develop responsive, reusable, and maintainable frontend components.
  • Troubleshoot UI issues and improve application usability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve software quality.
  • Work closely with QA and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with component libraries such as Material UI or similar.
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Basic understanding of Java/Kotlin backend services.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • 2–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Angular or Vue.js etc.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with frontend state management and modern frontend development practices.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams.

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
