We are seeking a Software Engineer who is hands-on, technically strong, and passionate about building scalable, reliable software solutions that deliver meaningful business and customer value. This role is suited for an engineer who can work independently on well-defined problems while collaborating closely with teammates on larger system designs.
The ideal candidate has experience developing modern applications using Java and Spring Boot, with front-end experience in Angular and/or React. You are comfortable working across the full stack, building and consuming APIs, and contributing to cloud-native systems deployed on Microsoft Azure.
You will play an active role in improving system quality, reducing technical debt, and contributing to operational excellence. Strong communication skills and a growth mindset are essential, as you will collaborate closely with product, platform, and SRE partners while continuing to expand your technical depth.
You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
Ensure security, privacy, and compliance best practices are followed throughout development and delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software features and services that support core business and platform capabilities
- Own small-to-medium technical components end-to-end, including implementation, testing, deployment, and support
- Build and maintain APIs and full-stack workflows using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular and/or React
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to design decisions within defined system boundaries
- Review pull requests, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding and quality standards
- Work with data platforms such as MySQL and Snowflake, and support observability using tools like Datadog
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Help identify and address technical debt and reliability issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, SRE, and partner teams to deliver high-quality solutions

- 3+ years of overall Software Development experience
- 2+ years of experience with Java and Springboot
- 2+ years of experience with both relational and non-relational databases
- 2+ years of experience with React or Angular
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
