We’re looking for Software Engineer I to join Procore’s Pages Team within the Data and AI Division. In this role, you’ll  play a critical role in designing robust systems, building the canvas-based Pages product and Dataset Editor, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the platform that connects company data to AI agents. Datagrid Pages and the Dataset Editor are core to Procore's agentic AI strategy — enabling dashboards, reports, and interactive charts. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role within the Data and AI division.

Procore's software aims to improve the lives of everyone in construction, and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We're a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security, and business systems.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager for the Pages Team and is based in our San Francisco office, supporting Procore's Datagrid AI Division. Given the collaborative and fast moving nature of this work, we are seeking candidates who are available to work onsite in a hybrid model at a minimum of 3 days per week. This is an immediate opening!

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain features

  • Build and refine UI components under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code review

  • Ask questions and document decisions

  • Participate in production support and learn monitoring/alerting

  • Learn and apply team standards

  • Grow your skills through pairing, mentorship, feedback

  • Leverage generative tools and agentic workflows to move faster and work smarter

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience.

  • 1+ years experience; exposure to TDD and UI/API (Ruby/Node/React/TypeScript a plus).

  • Interest in monitoring/alerts; willingness to learn on-call and ops.

  • Eagerness to learn and recommend technical improvements with guidance.

  • Ability to balance near-term delivery with learning and quality.

  • Familiarity with or interest in CI/CD

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

110,400.00 - 151,800.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.

For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) Candidates:

Procore will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in accordance with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.

A criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship on the following job duties, potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment: 1. appropriately managing, accessing, and handling confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information, as well as accessing Procore's information technology systems and platforms; 2. interacting with and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and/or colleagues; and 3. exercising sound judgment.
