DraftKings is seeking a Software Engineer, iOS to join our Online Sports Book, Mobile engineering team. You will be working on our well-reviewed iOS application used by a large and passionate group of users. We are proud of our rating in the App Store and need your help to continue this success. As a critical member of your team, you will deliver features and enhancements that transform our rich set of REST APIs into a fun and engaging iOS app written in Swift. In your role, you will be deeply engaged in the entire Agile development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and monitoring. We are looking for team players who are able to deliver imaginative solutions under real deadline constraints. Sound good to you? Join us.
What you'll do as a Software Engineer:
  • Work in a team environment to design and build new features for our iOS applications.
  • Monitor application performance and debug issues to maintain our high standards for quality.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and consume new APIs.
  • Participate in technical discussions to contribute to the design of application architecture.

What skills you will use:
  • Development experience in object oriented programming using languages such as Swift.
  • Knowledge of OOP and REST design principles
  • Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of unit and automation tests preferred
  • Desire to learn through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
  • Possess the passion to design, build and polish innovative applications
  • Recent experience in mobile development preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical major preferred
