TITLE: Software Engineer IV
LOCATION: Maryland Heights, MO
JOB SUMMARY: Analyze and develop Java solutions based on customer requirements. Design, develop, modify and implement applications and services designed to support Charter's applications. Write code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to improve application performance and functionality. Develop and implement strategies for migration, consolidation and upgrade of system components. Lead code review sessions to validate adherence to development standards. Analyze and resolve computer related problems by coordinating with internal teams to diagnose and fix operational difficulties. Implement, monitor, test and audit new software programs. Ensure monitoring and alerting is in place for all critical services, infrastructure and vendor connections using Splunk and App Dynamics. Participate in the on-call support rotation for Spectrum Mobile Buyflows and ecosystem. Utilize Java and J2EE for designing, coding, developing and testing applications. Build and develop Enterprise Web applications utilizing Spring MVC. Handle huge data and perform database operations utilizing Oracle SQL. Build applications utilizing Microservices. Write unit test cases for applications utilizing Junit and Mockito.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2 years of experience utilizing Java and J2EE for designing, coding, developing and testing applications; building and developing Enterprise Web applications utilizing Spring MVC; handling huge data and performing database operations utilizing Oracle SQL; building applications utilizing Microservices; and writing unit test cases for applications utilizing Junit and Mockito. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
