We are building the next generation of autonomous trucking technology to make freight transportation safer, more efficient, and more scalable.
Our Simulation team develops virtual testing environments, simulation infrastructure, and developer tools that accelerate autonomous driving development. We leverage large-scale simulation, synthetic data, and modern software engineering practices to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
We are looking for an early-career Software Engineer who is passionate about simulation, robotics, and autonomous driving. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build simulation infrastructure and tools that support the development and validation of autonomous vehicle software.
What You'll DoDevelop Simulation Software- Implement simulation features and infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers
- Build software components for simulation workflows and testing pipelines
- Develop tools used by Perception, Prediction, Planning, and Controls teams
- Contribute to improving simulation reliability, usability, and performance
- Assist with debugging simulation issues and validating software behavior
- Contribute to scenario generation and simulation execution pipelines
- Help improve automation for simulation testing and evaluation
- Learn and work with modern simulation platforms and development tools
- Participate in maintaining internal simulation services and tooling
- Write clean, maintainable C++ and Python code
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
- Learn software engineering best practices from experienced teammates
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Document software features and technical design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in C++ (C++17 preferred)
- Experience with object-oriented programming and data structures
- Familiarity with Linux development environment
- Basic understanding of:
- Multithreading
- Software design principles
- Debugging techniques
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Passion for robotics, simulation, or autonomous systems
- Internship or academic project experience involving:
- Robotics

- Exposure to CARLA, Isaac Sim, Unreal Engine, Gazebo, or similar simulation platforms

- Exposure to computer graphics or physics simulation
- Experience with sensor data processing
- Interest in AI for robotics or autonomous driving
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
