We are seeking a talented SE-V (Technical Lead, Services Engineering) to join our dynamic team and drive the design, development, and operation of our containerized microservices architecture. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will leverage your deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, cloud computing, and modern software engineering practices to build resilient, scalable, and high-performing services. As a technical leader, you will mentor engineers, ensure operational excellence, and play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions at scale.

You will…

  • Develop and maintain scalable, resilient APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core, applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and modern microservices best practices to guide design decisions and code quality.
  • Provide architectural guidance across engineering teams to ensure that the cloud-native platform is optimized for horizontal scaling, high availability, and concurrent execution, leveraging Kubernetes and operational tools to ensure reliability and observability in production.
  • Work heavily within GCP (Google Cloud Platform) utilizing services including BigQuery, CloudSql (Postgres), Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Apigee.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data processing patterns.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Mentor and support team members by sharing technical expertise, providing guidance, and fostering skill development.
  • Drive engineering excellence by championing code reviews, maintaining coding standards, and implementing best practices.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, advocating for their adoption where they add value.

You have…

  • 10+ years of commercial software development experience in C#.
  • 10+ years of SQL experience (BigQuery preferred), including deep knowledge of database design and query optimization.
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience, including leading teams and driving best practices.
  • 5+ years of experience with big data solutions and cloud-based architectures.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Containerization, Kubernetes, and deploying applications at scale.
    • Domain-Driven Design and Microservices Architecture.
    • Message queuing (e.g. Pub/Sub) and caching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and team growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation Package

  • The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
