Designs and implements display graphics software and core display functionality for mission-critical applications. Develops new technologies, performs graphics trade-off analysis, supports integration and field investigations, and participates in design reviews and technical decisions. Creates prototypes and proof of concepts for product roadmaps, collaborates with stakeholders, and mentors junior engineers. Develops software test cases from system and software requirements while applying software architecture, object-oriented development, lifecycle, configuration management, and change management practices.
This role involves technical knowledge in the Display Graphics application software/Core Display Applications area for the creation and integration of functionality and features for Anthem.
- Software Design and implementation of key display functionalities.
- New technology development through application development, graphics trade-off analysis.
- Provide investigation support for integration/field issues. Participate in design reviews and technical decision making.
- Mentor the junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.
- Collaborates/ actively networks with stakeholders for new technologies/ideas incubation/information.
Contribution to Displays enhancement offering ideas, prototypes, proof of concepts leading to timely insertions in product roadmaps for additional revenue streams.
Qualifications- B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
- 2+ years of experience working various application areas supporting mission critical functions/programs.
- SW architecture and design
- Object oriented development experience
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred) and standards
- Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
- Graphical Tools experience is preferred
- Knowledge/experience in software configuration management and change management with DOORS, BitBucket /GitHub, Sonar and bamboo is preferred
- Knowledge of SCADE is preferred
