Job Description

Are you rigorous and passionate about software testing and R&D processes? Then join the Quality Assurance group in ISAAC's R&D team. You'll be involved in improving quality and maintaining the company's vehicle telemetry software. Your main responsibilities will be implementing efficient manual testing methods to ensure products meet established quality standards. You will also analyze various change requests and assess their impact on test methods. In collaboration with the development team, you will implement in-depth testing methods. Your contribution will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsabilities:

  • Analyze and participate in defining user stories, providing information, time estimates and identifying risks.
  • Develop detailed test plans based on user stories and project requirements.
  • Estimate the time required for each test case and identify associated risks.
  • Develop, maintain and execute test procedures on assigned test cases.
  • Ensure validation of improvements and existing features.
  • Execute tests rigorously, recording results and identifying anomalies.
  • Ensure visibility of test progress throughout the development process.
  • Work closely with developers to identify, document and resolve feature-related issues.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and development standards. 
  • Demonstrate openness, flexibility and creativity while maintaining ISAAC standards, and have the necessary grit to overcome resistance and obstacles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or other training combined with relevant experience
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in quality assurance in a software development or high-tech company, or other relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the Windows environment
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Knowledge of SQL server
  • Investigative mind and problem solving skills
  • Good command of French
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Strong communication& organizational skills.

Assets

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps
  • Ability to interact with SQL databases
  • Knowledge of Postman
  • Experience in developing automated tests
  • Programming skills
  • Knowledge of Git
