Role Overview
The Solution Architect – Dynamics 365 CRM will provide
technical leadership for large‑scale data migration into Microsoft Dynamics 365
Customer Engagement (CE). This role focuses on architecting, guiding, and
supporting data migration, integration, and post‑migration data quality
activities within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide
technical leadership for data migration from legacy systems into Dynamics
365 CE.
- Lead
the development, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of the
Dynamics 365 CE platform.
- Define
interactions between application packages, databases, middleware, and
integration components.
- Design
and implement CRM customizations including entities, fields, workflows,
business rules, forms, and views.
- Architect
integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and enterprise systems.
- Establish
and enforce CRM security models, access controls, and data protection
measures.
- Optimize
system performance to ensure stability and responsiveness.
- Lead
post‑migration support, including analysis and resolution of data issues.
- Support
continuous improvement of data management processes.
- Complete
deliverables within assigned timelines and milestones.
- Escalate
risks, issues, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Submit
deliverables for formal approval as completed.
- Comply
with public‑sector security, architecture, technology standards, and best
practices.
- Provide
knowledge transfer to designated internal staff.
- Perform
other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum
1 year of recent experience as a CRM Architect working with Microsoft
Dynamics 365 CE, including data migration and solution integration.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Deep
knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement functionality and
capabilities.
- Extensive
experience with CRM platforms, enterprise environments, databases, and
integration protocols.
- Experience
designing and supporting CRM solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Strong
understanding of application performance considerations.
- Experience
with structured system design and development methodologies.
- Expertise
in data and process modeling, metadata structures, and data dictionaries.
- Experience
producing enterprise architecture deliverables and documentation.
- Hands‑on
experience with Dataverse / Common Data Service (CDS), APIs, and data
entities.
- Experience
with CI/CD practices, DevOps pipelines, and data workflows.
- Strong
ETL knowledge including extraction, transformation, and loading patterns.
- Experience
with Azure data and integration services such as Azure Data Factory,
Synapse, PolyBase, and SQL technologies.
- Experience
with data migration testing and test automation.
- Familiarity
with Azure platform services including storage, security, monitoring, and
DevOps tooling.
- Azure
certifications are an asset.
