SUMMARY

The Spatial Data Coordinator is a dedicated resource for the spatial data group, responsible for quality assurance, file management and maintaining client data.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews and prepares “virtual location survey’s” (VLS) for 3rd party completion.
  • Assembles reports for each VLS.
  • Ensures quality and consistency across all VLS reports.
  • Liaises with 3rd party vendors to ensure accurate final product.
  • Maintains Microsoft SharePoint site for each client.
  • Uploads all new VLS reports and keep files up to date for all clients.
  • Works closely with Spatial Data specialist(s) and Capital planning team to ensure timely delivery of reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • College diploma in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Data Management
  • Up to 1 year of Administration, Project Coordination or Data Management work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, an asset
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Excel along with an ability to learn software applications quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to review data for reasonability and to identify anomalies
  • Ability to coordinate and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of activities along with strong organizational skills
  • Effective verbal communication skills for the purpose of conveying data anomalies, coordinating workflow activities and providing software end user training

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $40,680 - $50,850 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
