Position: Specialized IT Consultant (Oracle EPM / Infrastructure)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Specialized IT Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and infrastructure environments. This role focuses on installation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise systems, with an emphasis on Hyperion Planning and ETL solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to enhance IT systems, improve operational efficiency, and enable critical business processes through robust technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level installation, configuration, and management of Oracle EPM (Hyperion Planning) environments
  
• Advise stakeholders on IT strategies, infrastructure design, and system optimization
  
• Act as a subject matter expert and technical advisor across deliverables
  
• Define project scope, system requirements, and infrastructure specifications
  
• Design, test, implement, and support new and existing IT systems
  
• Ensure quality assurance and delivery of solutions that meet or exceed expectations
  
• Develop processes, documentation, and implementation plans
  
• Analyze IT requirements and provide objective recommendations
  
• Anticipate and resolve technical challenges to ensure project success
  
• Collaborate with teams to support enterprise-level, high-availability platforms
  

General Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Management and IT principles
  
• Familiarity with change management methodologies
  
• Experience preparing reports, recommendations, and technical documentation
  
• Ability to work with stakeholders to define and deliver complex IT solutions
  

Core Technical Skills

• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Hyperion Planning (Oracle EPM), including version 11.2
  
• Experience implementing EPM with Oracle Access Management (OAM) Single Sign-On
  
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
  
• Hands-on experience with Oracle technologies including APEX, Oracle RDBMS, and OBIEE (BI Publisher)
  
• Experience configuring and managing WordPress in a Linux load-balanced environment
  
• Strong understanding of network components in complex, load-balanced environments
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining ETL solutions, particularly using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  
• Familiarity with Informatica (considered an asset)
  

Application-Specific Experience

• Experience working in highly available, load-balanced systems
  
• Supporting enterprise platforms with 1000+ users across multiple browsers and desktop environments
  
• Configuring infrastructure for business-critical financial systems (e.g., payments, fund allocation)
  
• Experience with hybrid application architectures (Hyperion Planning, APEX, ODI, VBA/Excel)
  
• Working with applications exposed externally via proxy servers
  
• Designing and implementing complex computing platforms
  
• Creating high-quality documentation for infrastructure implementations
  
• Collaborating with data center teams managing multi-platform environments
  

Must-Have Profile

• Strong infrastructure background (installation, configuration, environment setup)
  
• Not primarily a developer—focus is on system setup and support
  
• Deep experience with Oracle EPM (Hyperion Planning)
  
• Strong ETL experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
