What you'll be doing
This role supports business services within the EDRMO team. Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues to deliver services efficiently, recommending process improvements, and assisting with risk and control activities. The role involves working with a diverse team, emphasizing urgency, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail. Key processes supported include departmental recordkeeping and service delivery of EDRMO as an oversight function.
How you'll succeed
- Operational Excellence: Ensure effective execution of current processes related to managing digital and physical inventories, data retention and destruction, and service delivery. Identify opportunities to improve how processes could be executed faster and easier, while maintaining quality. Work with different teams and people across CIBC to make sure service requests are assigned and completed on time.
- Innovative Thinking: Encourage new ideas and solutions across CIBC that provide enhanced results for business partners. Work with teams in business, technology, and data to support changes that meet business needs and manage risks.
- Collaboration: Work with experts and teams across the bank to manage data and records together. Connect and cooperate with people responsible for records and data throughout CIBC. As a governance group, EDRMO partners closely with Regions globally.
- Focus on Outcomes: Define business outcomes and how success will be measured. Map out processes from start to finish and suggest ways to uplift EDRMO services. Create supporting materials to help design, implement and sustain solutions, such as job aids or training content.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with business, technology, risk, and compliance teams to share updates and maintain alignment. Keep track of service delivery and prepare information for meetings and events with stakeholders, such as forums and committee updates.
