The Sr Business Intelligence Data Analyst will develop analytics products, work with clients on BI needs, and ensure data quality and insights delivery.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Sr Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team to develop analytics products (reports, dashboards, analyses) that deliver key insights to the varied users of our products across Homecare Providers, Payers and State organizations.
In addition to general work on the product, the person in this role will be working with specific clients to meet their individual BI needs. This will include working directly with clients to understand and clarify their requirements, developing solutions that meet the requirements, and reviewing and gaining acceptance of the solutions with the client.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Midtown Manhattan, Washington D.C. or Bloomington, MN office locations, with an on-site presence required two days per week to support team collaboration.
Essential Job Duties
- Act as a primary contact for external customers to clarify requirements and communicate timelines and status of work
- Design and build reports and dashboards to meet business objectives for our customers
- Work to ensure consistent data and metrics across all artifacts produced in our system by contributing to data dictionaries and definitions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for external customers using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, or similar).
- Work with homecare data (e.g., EHR/EMR, claims, patient outcomes) to generate insights that support operational and clinical decision-making.
- Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to understand customer requirements and design analytics solutions that address specific use cases.
- Work directly with certain customers to understand their requirements, develop solutions, collect feedback and revise
- Use SQL and other data tools to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability in all reports and visualizations.
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to scalable analytics frameworks that can be customized across multiple clients and use cases.
- Identify trends and patterns in homecare data that can help improve product features or customer outcomes.

Travel Requirements
- Travel 10-25%, including overnight travel
Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on systems integration or interoperability.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation, mapping, and data pipeline optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve data issues.
- Significant development experience with at least one Business Intelligence tool, such as Tableau, PowerBI or DOMO
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders within and outside the company.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data querying and scripting languages.
- Experience with Healthcare Analytics
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $90,000-115,000 not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
