Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. We need a person who can help bring the best practices and maturity to our AWS & GCP Cloud infrastructure that supports our global business. You will work closely with the engineering team to support our growth from an infrastructure perspective. We are fully IaC with Terraform, docker & Kubernetes. You will work with cutting edge infrastructure and an excellent team in a hands-on fashion.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure our infrastructure and security scales with our growth 
  • Participate in on-call rotation and ensure reliability and uptime for our global customers
  • Hands-on approach in addressing issues, outages, and new solutions 
  • Implement infrastructure automation, developer productivity tools, and security tools
  • Manage relationships with external vendors 
  • Manage our AWS cost

Qualifications

Ideal Qualifications: 

● 5+ years experience in a hands-on DevOps role

● Strong Cassandra Knowledge 

● 3+ years AWS experience a must, AWS certifications preferred

● Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ( Terraform, Ansible) and Security-as-Code

● Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS)

● Strong foundational Linux, OS, and network skills

● Experience configuring and supporting monitoring tools (Prometheus, cloudwatch, ELK, SignalFX)

● Hands-on experience with distributed systems, especially distributed data stores such as Mongo, ElasticSearch, Couchbase, Redis

● Past exposure with big data ecosystems such as Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, AWS EMR

● Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication style
