Sr. Director, Platform Professional Services PMO & Federal (Remote)

About the Role:
The Sr. Director, Platform PS PMO & Federal will lead CrowdStrike's Federal practice while establishing and scaling global PMO capabilities for Platform Professional Services. This role drives revenue growth, operational excellence, and delivery standardization across Federal customers and the broader Platform PS organization supporting all Falcon platform capabilities.
What You'll Do:
Federal Practice Leadership:Business Development & RevenueOwn and grow Federal practice bookings and pipeline targets
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Federal sector
Build strategic relationships with Federal agencies and system integrators
Identify new market opportunities and expand footprint across civilian, DoD, and intelligence communities
Partner with Sales leadership to drive deal strategy and closure
Design and implement scalable delivery methodologies for Federal engagements
Ensure successful deployment and adoption of Falcon platform solutions
Maintain deep understanding of Federal compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, etc.)
Ensure delivery practices align with Federal security and compliance standards
Stay current on Federal procurement processes and regulations
Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent with Federal expertise
Manage and mentor Federal-focused engineers and consultants
Maintain high customer satisfaction and reference-ability across Federal accounts
Establish and lead the global Platform PS PMO function
Define and implement PMO charter, governance framework, and operating model
Create standardized project management methodologies and best practices
Develop and maintain project lifecycle processes (initiation, planning, execution, closure)
Establish portfolio management practices for resource allocation and prioritization
Design and implement KPIs and dashboards for project health, utilization, and delivery metrics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all PS engagements
Establish quality assurance and project audit processes
Create executive reporting and business reviews for PS leadership
Track and optimize resource utilization, margin, and delivery efficiency
Own PMO tooling strategy and implementation (PSA, project management platforms)
Develop project templates, playbooks, and delivery accelerators
Create training programs for project managers and delivery teams
Build knowledge management systems and lessons learned repositories
Standardize customer communication and status reporting frameworks
Partner with Sales Operations on deal handoff and scoping processes
Collaborate with Finance on revenue recognition, forecasting, and billing
Work with Talent Acquisition on resource planning and hiring strategies
Align with Product and Engineering on delivery feedback loops
Coordinate with Customer Success on post-delivery transitions
Establish enterprise risk management framework for PS engagements
Create escalation paths and issue resolution processes
Monitor project health and proactively address at-risk engagements
Conduct post-mortem analyses and implement corrective actions
Build and scale a high-performing team of PMO professionals and Federal specialists
Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks across both functions
Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer obsession
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning
Represent CrowdStrike at Federal industry events and professional forums
What You'll Need:
15+ years experience in technology consulting, professional services, or Federal practice leadership
10+ years in leadership roles managing technical teams and PMO functions
Proven track record of building and scaling Federal practices ($XX-XXM+ in bookings)
Deep expertise in PMO methodologies, frameworks (PMP, Agile, SAFe), and tools
Strong understanding of Federal cybersecurity landscape and procurement
Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
Demonstrated P&L management and business acumen
Excellent executive presence and communication skills
Experience managing geographically distributed teams
Bonus Points:
Experience with endpoint security, cloud security, or threat intelligence solutions
Existing Federal customer relationships and network
Background in both civilian and DoD sectors
Professional certifications (PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar)
Experience implementing PSA tools (Kantata, FinancialForce, ServiceNow, etc.)

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $225,000 - $280,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.For detailed information about the U.S. benefits package, please click here.
